DESCRIPTION
- Abstract
- Sixteen letters from the Southwestern U.S. There is one from Laredo, TX; one from Dragoon, AZ, with an illustration; thirteen from Santa Fe, NM; and one from Albuquerque. There are events mentioned in these letters, which suggest possible dates, and these are discussed in the contents notes accompanying each group in this binder. There is a letter written on twelve sheets of colored paper, which probably dates from 1929 or 1930. Enclosed with this letter was an original D.N.S. woodblock print, "La Aparicion" [now damaged], with a description of the event it illustrates. Several of these undated letters are illustrated, and there are various enclosures of clippings and performance programs. Eight letters written from uncertain or unidentifiable locales. Any possible dating based on events discussed in the letters is presented in the contents notes with this group of undated letters.
